B&W Update Popular XT Series
B&W have finally released the upgraded and somewhat improved XT range of loudspeakers, with the XT8 3 way floorstander heading the bunch their little brothers the XT2 follow with the XTC Centre channel to complete the possible AV package.
Greatly improved space has been acheived with these speakers giving much better clarity whilst also improving on the general size and weight of the sound from what would apparently be a prohibitively small cabinet, the XT8 is truly worth a listen for the audiophile and those searching for a superbly styled and finished product.
Hook up the XT2 and similar feelings of disbelief enter your conciousness, just how do they produce THAT much sound, continue to faithfully reproduce music, and look like they should be in the TATE? I've asked B&W, they just smile and look a bit smug! Worthy of some of your precious time for a listen indeed......
And, last but not least, the XTC; for all you audiophile cinema lovers the matching centre channel speaker in the range perfectly matches it's kin for tone and simple yet striking design. Sitting underneath for lovely big TV or on the wall will convey your most important of AV channels beautifully using the Nautilus Tube Loaded tweeter for smooth and detailed treble and twin Kevlar bass / mid drivers to fill in the rest.
