JVC HD-550 Projector IN-STORE! - 07/10/2009
The latest addition to the JVC projector family, the DLA-HD550, is now in store for demonstration.
Taking from where the previous models (HD350 and HD750) left off, it is JVC's mission to dominate the mid price projector market by producing what throughout the industry are regarded as the finest products available for the price that they are at, whilst also punching way above their weight at products at twice the price tag.
This new incarnation continues with the smooth natural pictures that you would expect, producing hugely detailed but believable pictures on screen, this unit does not scream "OI! Look! I'm HIGH DEFINITION!!" like some of it's more crass classmates; it just delivers a spectacluar picture with subtlety and a maturity that the vision market seems to have forgotten in favour of overly edged, primary colours, which are just tiring to watch.

Phase 3 In Spain - 01/10/2009
It would appear that the esteemed owner of Phase 3 Southampton is no longer satisfied with the slightly inconsistant weather patterns here in good old Blighty and seems to be spending an awful lot of his time around the Costa Del Sol and Inland Andalucia.
