LATEST MERIDIAN FIRMWARE RELEASED
Meridian Audio have released new firmware for a number of their processors and DSP loudspeakers, products included in the upgrade are:
Surround controllers: 861v4, 861v6, G68, G61R, G61, and C61
DSP Loudspeakers: DSP3100, DSP5000, DSP5200, DSP5500, DSP6000, DSP7000, DSP7200 and DSP8000
The upgrade now adds Meridian's proprietary apodising upsampling filters to all the above processors and DSP loudspeakers that are already capable of upsampling, and an enhancement to DIRECT and STEREO DSP modes in the processors.
For true three way DSP loudspeakers there is also an improved crossover alignment, helping with low frequency timing and accuracy.
Having also released their first DSP subwoofer, the DSW, the Audio Core 200 also gets an upgrade to allow the integration of said subwoofer.
